Purpose? What’s that?…

I got confused while trying to select a topic for this new blog article. I thought to start from a love interest angle, work(cooperate) angle or maybe a more personal life angle. Then I heard the word “Purpose”

What does “purpose”’ mean to you?

For me, I would describe purpose as a expression of value. However, according to Oxford dictionary—

“It is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.”

Or could also mean,

(verb) have as one’s intention or objective.

I strongly agree with a mindset that plays with purpose and inarguably would agree that most of us truly have not found our purpose in life. Absolutely, correct.

We are letting the boat sail, letting the storm rise and never trulyasking our selves the right question “where is this boat going to? and why are we going there?”.

I must say as for me the beginning of wisdom is the definition of purpose because, of these “WH” questions and the same even applies to any involvement you could be into—friendships, relationships, family, business, career, etc.

They say the first step to creating a business is knowing what solution it is providing for the society at large– so if my business isn’t providing a solution, then truly what is its purpose? No purpose, No value.

Same goes even with that friendship you’re into, what is the purpose? Believe me, we are all humans and it is agreeable to say we are in both ends going to have a “selfish interest”

Self interest-(in economics)

self-interest refers to the idea that individuals tend to make decisions and engage in behaviors that they believe will maximize their own personal benefit or well-being.

This therefore means in one way or another there’s the need for a value play here which means in lame man’s words “If you’d pour into me, I would pour into you” vibe(lol)

So yes, once you find yourself valuable then there will be purposeful friendships. Friendships create even greater opportunities and not just one to while away time and with no goals. Real friendships for me stem from not just their giggles but the greatness to be achieved when doing great things together.

And even in spirituality also, the whole creation of life steamed from the idea of purpose.

According to the passage,

Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV) “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

This clearly explains the purpose of us( Christians) on earth and how Christ has come to show us the way, truth and he is our light in anything we are commissioned to do.

Therefore this clearly explains why there’s need to always ask yourself these “WH” questions of why, what, when. As they help to truly give answers on your purpose in any decision you are about to take or any activity you are currently handling.

“Be fucking valuable that your purpose becomes an aura. Let your purpose be fixed to your own benefits and not to please anyone. Find your PURPOSE.”
